Unsend iMessages
There are some times when you might want to cancel a text message before it’s sent. You can do this by holding the message in your iPhone’s Messages app and selecting “Unsend.” Once you’ve unsent the message, you’ll see a note confirming that you’ve canceled it.
In these cases, you’ll want to act quickly. The iPhone will allow you to send a message to your contact even if you accidentally delete it. To edit it, long-press on the message and tap “edit” at the top of the screen. This will allow you to fix any errors you made before sending the message. Then, you can save the message.
To delete a message, hold down the message until you see a menu on your screen. You’ll see a white speech bubble on a green background. Press “Delete” and the message will be deleted. You can also choose to delete the conversation by pressing the Delete All button in the top-right corner.
Apple iOS lets you edit a text message up to five times and for up to 15 minutes. However, the time limit was lowered after user feedback. As a result, it will take you a few minutes to unsend the message. In addition, the recipient will see the history of all changes made to the message.
Edit sent iMessages
There are a couple of ways to cancel a text message on your iPhone. First, you need to make sure you don’t send a text message. This is easy enough, but you have to do it quickly. When you see the “Sending…” text under the recipient’s name, you’ll know the message is about to go out.

Intercept iMessages before Apple’s servers receive them
If you want to intercept iMessages before they reach Apple’s servers, you can use third-party apps. These apps will intercept messages before Apple’s servers receive them, and they will even un-send them if you accidentally sent one.
The DEA has been accused of trying to monitor iMessages by intercepting them from the network provider. But the fact is, carriers cannot intercept iMessages, as the messages are encrypted and routed over Apple servers. That means, even if your phone is jailbroken, you are not at risk from average hackers.
When you send an iMessage, Apple creates two sets of public and private keys. These keys are used for encryption and signing messages. If they don’t match, the iMessage client flags the message. The public key is sent to Apple’s servers, and the private key is stored on your phone. Your iPhone then uses this public key to sign and encrypt your iMessage.
However, this encryption is not foolproof. Apple keeps a log of contact related information for debugging and routing messages. Additionally, the system switches between iMessage and SMS messages. The data is stored for 30 days before being deleted. Some of it is also made available to law enforcement with a warrant.
Fortunately, there are ways to intercept iMessages before Apple’ servers receive them. One method is to install a trusted CA on an employee’s iPhone, which will enable SSL communications. In addition, this method will allow you to capture the AppleID of the person sending the message.
To intercept iMessages before Apple’s systems receive them, you need to be able to intercept a message before it reaches Apple’s servers. To do this, you need to get in between the client and Apple’s servers. The attacker must also provide certificates for the two parties to communicate.
Disadvantages of unsending iMessages

Another disadvantage of unsending iMessages is that it doesn’t work for all iMessages. You can only undo a message up to two minutes after sending it. Otherwise, it won’t work at all. Also, this feature only works with iOS 16 and higher. Using an older build will result in a message being resent.
The second disadvantage of unsending iMessages is that it’s not as reliable as the other iMessages features. This feature has a 15 minute limit, which may be too short for you to send a message. It’s better to set a longer time limit, or even eliminate the limit altogether.
