When you reboot a Windows 10 computer, you should access the BIOS menu by pressing F1 or F2. Alternatively, you can use the Windows shortcut keys Windows + I. You’ll need to scroll down a bit to find the “Update & security” option. The Advanced startup option contains the “Restart now” button. When you press this button, your PC will reboot into its recovery environment. From there, you can choose a boot option, such as “Boot From BIOS” or “Set UEFI Firmware Settings”
Once you’ve done this, the next step is to select your boot device. The BIOS will not boot from an internal hard drive if it doesn’t recognize it, but an external USB drive can. When booting from an external drive, you should set the external drive as your boot priority. Alternatively, you can also use a Windows installation disk as your boot disk. If you use a bootable Windows installation disk, then you can use this as an emergency boot disk.
Reinstalling Windows 10 without CD or USB
Before you start reinstalling Windows 10 without a CD or USB, you need to make sure your computer supports Legacy Support. This feature is called UEFI/Legacy Boot, or Boot Option Filter, and it can vary depending on the make and model of your computer.
